The knights of Columbus will celebrate their 50th anniversary

The Knights  of Columbus  John J. Shea  Assembly  0081  will be celebrating their 50th anniversary honoring past faithful Navigator Richard Contreras on Saturday Evening April 20 6:00 PM  in the Mary Star of the Sea Auditorium,   870 West 8th Street  in San Pedro California.

 

Social  hour  at 6:00 pm.  Introduction  of  dignitaries followed  by   dinner served at 7:00 pm, dancing by the Duo Domino with  Latino and Filipino Music.  Dinner  catered by Mary Star own chef  Danny Maricich – MENU:   Chicken Parmigiana, with all the trimmings, Garlic Bread, Tiramisù Dessert, Coffee.   Beer, Wine, Soda, Water, sold at the Bar for Nominal Prices.

Tickets are $ 25.00 a person.  Full table of 16  members and guests  is  $ 400.00.   We suggest  for  Church organizations  to reserve  a full table  for their respective  members.

 

The  John J  Shea Assembly  0081   with 220  4th degree  members  is the elite  local  Color Guard  Group of the Knights  of Columbus  that is seen  in our community  in many  functions. Its members  are  4th degree from eight  different  parishes: Mary Star of the Sea,  Saint Peters, Holy Trinity  in San Pedro,  Saint Peter and Paul  Parish in Wilmington, Saint Margaret  Mary Parish in Lomita,  St Philomena Parish  in Carson, and  Saint Lucy Parish  in Long Beach….

 

Members  meet the third Wednesday  of the  month  at the Knight of Columbus Hall  located  in the Mary Star of the Sea parish  in San Pedro, Membership dues  is $ 25.00  a year. Only 3rd degree  K of C  Members  can advance  to  4th degree and join the Elite Color Guard  Group.

 

After  the dinner  there will be a program  honoring  past  faithful  navigator  SK  Richard Contreras.   Master of ceremony  for the evening  will be: past District Deputy SK  John Perez,  Chairman   SK   Tony De Girolamo, Co-Chairmans   FN  SK   Nick  Vilicich.   PDD   SK  John Perez      PFN   SK   Francisco Camacho.   VIVAT   JESUS
