(Los Angeles, CA – April 12, 2024) Fondazione Italia (https://italianfoundation.org/), a leading Italian Language school both in the classroom and online,®has announced a partnership with Order Sons And Daughters Of Italy In America (OSDIA). OSDIA (http://osdia.org/) announced this partnership in the April issue of its newsletter “Questo Mese”.

This partnership is focused on rekindling a connection to heritage and culture among the Italian American community providing them with a unique opportunity to reconnect with their linguistic and cultural roots.

Fondazione Italia has always been a beacon of language and culture. Partnering with the Order of Sons and Daughters of Italy in America an organization renowned for its efforts in celebrating and protecting Italian traditions is a natural confluence of shared values and goals.

This is the perfect partnership of a respected and historic Italian American society joining forces with an innovative and dynamic Italian language non-profit. OSDIA’s origins focused on establishing Italians in the United States and now many generations later, Italian Americans long to connect to their ancient roots. What better way to connect than with knowledge and confidence in speaking Italian.

The dual purpose of both organizations is to create opportunities where Italian Americans can embrace and revel in their identity. Through language classes and cultural events like webinars and workshops we aim to instill a sense of pride and belonging within the Italian American community regardless of their proficiency, in the language.

“We welcome the members of the Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America with open arms,” said Paolo Miliozzi, President of Fondazione Italia. “We encourage all of their members to take advantage of this opportunity to not only expand their knowledge of the beautiful Italian language, but as a way to get closer to our rich heritage.”

In addition to offering a wide range of classes, Fondazione Italia actively supports Italian language programs in over 50 schools across the Western United States. This includes overseeing full-immersion programs, the promotion of Advanced Placement (AP) for high school students and the Italian California Subject Examination for Teachers (CSET). Fondazione Italia also organizes cultural events and workshops as well as annual trips to Italy.
