Pino Daniele was well known worldwide for his Neapolitan songs

The city of Naples remembers Pino Daniele one year after his death. The celebrations took part with his music and his songs played in different subway stations. The initiative comes from the Anm, the Neapolitan mobility company, that will play Pino’s songs.

In the meantime, the ashes of the Italian singer-songwriter have been interred in a cemetery at the southern Tuscan town where he spent the last 15 years of his life. Neapolitan music legend Daniele died of heart failure on the night of January 5 despite a rush to hospital from his hideaway at Magliano near Grosseto.
