Pasta Does Not Cause Obesity, A Research Finds
Pasta does not reduce the BMI in the system (Ph: shibatakan)
According to an Italian research, pasta does not contribute to obesity, on the other hand it is in fact associated with a reduction in body mass index (BMI). This fundamental element of Italian’s Mediterranean diet is linked to the reduced likelihood of abdominal obesity.

The study does not state that eating pasta causes a reduction in BMI, just that it’s associated with it. Italians also eat smaller portions as pasta is typically considered a first course rather than a main. The research was funded by Barilla and the Italian Governmennt.
