The biggest aerostatic event of the South Italy, with 30 hot air balloons, is taking place in Paestum in these days until October 11.

The event represents a moment for the local people to travel on a balloon that overlooks the natural and cultural surrounding heritage, indeed they can enjoy both the entire archaeological site of the ancient Greek temples, declared a World Heritage Site since 1988, as well the coast from Agropoli to Amalfi, with the chance to see, if the sky is clear, the island of Capri.

The temples of Paestum host this year the sixth edition of the “Paestum Balloon Festival”.
