Three Academy Award winners, Sophia Loren, Ennio Morricone, and Giuseppe Tornatore, will feature in a Dolce & Gabbana perfume commercial in the next week.
The commercial has been directed by Tornatore with Ennio Morricone’s score is set in the Sicilian town of Bagheria, and will tout a perfume called Dolce Rosa Excelsa.
Sophia Loren will play the part of a mother who leads her five sons in restoring an old family home.
In a trailer released Wednesday titled Rebirth – the first of three trailers to be released ahead of the spot’s TV debut January 31 – Loren cuts dead branches and encourages her sons to knock down walls and restore frescoes to return the villa to its original splendour.
