What’s the Italians’ National Drink? According to a study conducted by Astra Ricerche 96.5% of Italians between the ages 18 and 65 drink coffee, with men from Piedmont and Lombardy regions being the majority.
 
According to the report, Italian coffee culture has created three categories of consumers: weak, one to two cups daily (36%); medium, two to three cups daily (36%); and heavy, more than three cups daily (27%). The report detailed that 89% drink coffee at home and 75% in a bar. More than half of them said they would never give up to it.
