A slow tour by bike and by boat nearby Mantua. Go along the banks of the river Po by bike and reach the boat bridge over the river Oglio. Then let’s go sailing to the mouth of the Oglio, where it flows into the Po, the confluence of the two rivers. That is a great naturalistic area, ideal for birdwatching. Hunting is strictly forbidden here and people need a special license for fishing. That is the reason why it has become an area of breeding, stopping and feeding for many bird species, both migratory and permanent.
