Starting September 1st, the Lungomare Caracciolo in Naples will become the “the greatest pizzeria of the world”. Fifty among Naples’ most renowned pizzerias will have their own shop on the promenade with some spectacular “pizza performances”, workshops, a world championship, music and shows.
This 14th edition of the “Pizzaiuolo World Championship” will also choose the world’s best pizza chef and will give the Trofeo Caputo, from the name of the Naples-based company producing high-quality “00” flour for pizza.
Visitors will also have the chance to learn the art of pizza-making thanks to twelve master pizzaioli. The event runs Sept. 1-6, from 6 pm till midnight. More at http://pizzavillage.it/en/
