Italian Composer Ennio Morricone won the Best Original Score Golden Globe for his work on Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight.
Foxx and James revealed the real winner, Ennio Morricone for The Hateful Eight. The Hateful Eight director Quentin Tarantino accepted on the 87-year-old’s behalf, sharing that the revered Morricone was his favorite composer — ever. “This is really cool,” Tarantino said. “As far as I’m concerned, he’s my favorite composer. And when I say favorite composer, I don’t mean movie composer, that ghetto. I’m talking about Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert. That’s who I’m talking about.”
