Three Million Pilgrims Visited Rome for the Jubilee of Mercy

The Catholic Church’s extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy has drawn three million religious pilgrims to Rome in its first 100 days. The announcement has been made by Monsignor Rino Fisichella, the coordinator of the Holy Year, and Rome Prefect Franco Gabrielli.

The Vatican said 1.5 million people have participated in 50 Jubilee events, and an additional 3,579 public safety officers have been working to ensure security throughout the city.
