Game Fair Italia celebrates its 25th event with a new location, the Fiera del Madonnino exhibition centre in Grosseto, in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma. While Game Fair was launched in England in 1950, by the Country Landowners Association, the idea of making the most of rural culture by bringing together hunting, fishing and shooting enthusiasts, and lovers of horses, dogs and country life, on a regular basis is now very popular also in Italy.

Game Fair is currently held in England, France, Spain, USA, and Italy.

The first Italian Game Fair events were held from 1991 to 1997, in Lake Bracciano, in the Odescalchi Estates. In the following years, until 2002, the event was organised in the Bellavista Insuese estates in Collesalvetti, close to Livorno. There were also two events in Calabria and in San Daniele del Friuli. Then, until 2006, the event was held on the Santa Barbara estate in Bracciano, close to Rome. From 2007 until 2014, Game Fair Italia has been located in Spinicci, Tarquinia.
