Eataly has announced it will be opening a second New York City location at the World Trade Center on August 11. The store will debut a 40,000-square-foot space on the third floor of World Trade Center, on Tower 4.
Eataly overlooks the Freedom Tower and September 11 Memorial and offers a salad bar, a piadineria, a juice bar and a restaurant dedicated to southern Italian food (Osteria della Pace). They will be also serving breakfast from 7 am in the morning.
According to Eataly’s founder, Oscar Farinetti, about 38 million dollars have been invested in the new store, which will employ a total of 600 people.
