Ca’ Zen is an 18th century Venetian villa once owned by the aristocratic Venetian Zen family. Teresa Gamba, the owner’s wife, was exiled here because she fell in love with Lord Byron! But Lord Byron came often to visit her in this romantic place close to the Po River, and here he wrote some of his best poems.
