Italy Launches a Masterplan for Biking-Path

According to ANSA press agency, Italian Transportation Minister, Graziano Delrio, announced that the government is ready to launch a national ‘masterplan’ for a network of cycle paths across Italy. The idea is to “replicate on a national level what we did when I was mayor of Reggio Emilia”. Delrio said there were already four major ‘arteries’ for bikes funded by the 2016 budget and a fifth has been mapped out.
