The ancient village of Bevagna
The ancient village of Bevagna

Bevagna, a handsome village in the province of Perugia, is one of Umbria’s most characteristic small towns: so much so, it has often been used to film movies and TV series, including Franco Zeffirelli’s “Fratello Sole, Sorella Luna”.

The village can easily be visited while visiting its famous neighboring towns of Assisi, Foligno and Trevi and it offers a great insight into Romanesque and Medieval architectures. Bevagna is part of the “Borghi più belli d’Italia”, an association of small Italian towns of historical and artistic interest.
