Less than a year ago, Newport Italian original store opened in Orange County, challenging the American myth of Harley Davidson motorcycles with the Italian stylish and high-tech Piaggio Vespa, Moto Guzzi, and Aprilia motor-scooters.

Thanks to an inspired combination of modern design and cozy piazza atmosphere, Newport Italian has soon become a meeting point as well as an established presence on the occasion of many prestigious community events.

Among them, the store participated in the celebrations for the Italian Republic organized by the Consulate General of Italy in June 2013, promoting Made in Italy and showcasing some of the latest two-wheels models. It was also one of the main sponsors of the fundraising Celebration of Father’s Gala, featuring award winning Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, and of the Italian Opera Festival at Soka Performing Art Center, just to name a few.

And of course, as the representative of the Italian brands in the United States, Mexico, and Canada, Newport Italian is on the front line at the Moto GP and Super Bike races in Laguna Seca. Indeed, Aprilia won the manufacturer’s title at the 2013 Superbike World Championship for the fifth time in the last four years.

If Aprilia conquers the racetrack, Piaggio also aims for the market with its all-new Vespa Primavera
Heir of the historical 1968 model and inspired by the style of the limited edition Vespa 946, the new Primavera has a more rigid and stable body structure, yet it is still agile and comfortable thanks to the longer wheelbase and 11” wheels. Modern design features like the increased space between the handlebar and the saddle, led daylight running lights, and digital instruments represent a perfect balance between Vespa’s traditional charm and technological innovation.

Powered by ecological 50 2T, 50 4T, 125 3V and 150 3V engines, the reborn Primavera also offers greater performance, reduced emissions, and fuel efficiency which makes it affordable and a very good fit for urban transportation. Different colors and accessories are available for the customers to configure and personalize their new travel companion.

If you are intrigued and would like to take a closer look at the iconic Vespa Primavera, Newport Italian store is open from Tuesday to Sunday to welcome you with a real Italian espresso coffee, a friendly and competent staff, and a wide range of services and products for all bikers’ tastes.

And in the next few months, don’t miss some exciting local events where you can find Newport Italian and its motor-scooters, including the brand-new model. On January 16, they will be showcased at the Marbella Country Club in San Juan Capistrano, while on March 7 the store itself will host the Fashion Week OC after party.

A monthly Italian-style event is also held at Newport Italian: a perfect occasion to meet the colorful and passionate world of Vespa and to discover the new Primavera.
