Otranto, Sperlonga, and Cefalù Are Trivago Top Ranking in Italy

Otranto in the Apulia, Sperlonga in Lazio, and Cefalù in Sicily are part of the ranking of the 20 most popular historic towns in Italy according to Trivago. The ranking shows both the beauty of the places listed and the competitiveness of the accommodation they have on offer.
 
In Otranto, one night staying in April costs on average 85 euros, almost the same amount in Sperlonga costs on average 88 euros whereas in Cefalù it would cost 128 euros. Other towns to have made it into the top 10 include Castellabbate in Campania, Lerici in Liguria, respectively in fourth and fifth place. They are followed by Monte Argentario in Tuscany, Vietri sul Mare on the Amalfi Coast, Vipiteno in the Dolomite region of Trentino Alto Adige, Norcia in Umbria and Laigueglia in Liguria.
