The ICS is a community, united not only in our love for Italy, but also by our appreciation of the values that Italy is known for around the world: creativity, innovation, originality and authenticity. 

Our knowledgeable, talented, passionate, native speaker instructors have been teaching Italian and cultural courses to our community for many years at our headquarters, located just outside of Washington DC, in Bethesda, MD. Some of them hold prestigious PhDs and previously worked in universities and now, they are offering a variety of advanced courses for our school. With us, you can read the entire Divine Comedy, La Gerusalemme Liberata, I promessi Sposi and learn their historical context; you can enjoy “book club -courses” enjoying the classics and the most recent bestsellers; you can attend Art, Archeology or History classes, or a conversation course, to be updated with Italian news and its political issues, while improving your language skills
