The International Travel Guide, Lonely Planet, picked ten stunning European destinations that should be on travellers’ bucket list this summer: top of the list is Peloponnese, Greece, which is often forgotten as travellers flock to marvel at the iconic Acropolis.
As for Italy, Venice made the third position: as mentioned in the article “Now is a fantastic time to delve a little deeper into Venice’s history. In 2016, the city commemorates the 500-year history of the Venetian ghetto – an island at the heart of this island city.”
