Central Italy woke up to another strong earthquake this morning: at 7:40 a.m. on Sunday, the regions of Marche and Umbria were hit by an earthquake of magnitude 6.5.

The epicenter was localized between Norcia and Preci, in the same area that was hit on August 24 and last week. Many buildings collapsed, including the church of San Benedetto in Norcia: only the facade now stands overlooking the ruins of the bell tower and roof.

So far, no casualties have been reported.
