L’Italo-Americano is a 501(c)(3) non–profit organization biweekly publication serving the Italian-American community throughout the United States. Established in 1908, L’Italo-Americano is the oldest Italian-American newspaper in the US with a mission to promote and preserve Italian culture and heritage by reporting in both Italian and English on subjects such as arts and culture, literature, education, history, business, sciences, sports, lifestyle to name a few.
The paper publishes news articles that feature events in the Italian-American communities primarily of the west coast, helping to foster a meaningful connection with Italian culture. L’Italo-Americano is published every other Thursday, and it reaches more than 35,000 readers biweekly. Moreover, with a growing social media network featuring more than 100,000 readers a month, it is on the cutting edge of how Italian-Americans can connect with their culture and heritage.
We are committed to maintaining the connection with Italy through the stories, profiles, news and memories that we offer our readers every other week. It’s our job to constantly look at the future. Thinking about tomorrow and the next publication striving to select the best possible stories to include in the next edition with always you the readers’ in mind.
