Francesco Gabbani Is The Winner of The 2016 Youth Edition of the Festival di Sanremo

Francesco Gabbani won the 2016 Youth Edition of the Festival di Sanremo

Francesco Gabbani has won the 2016 edition of Youth at the Festival Di Sanremo , with the song "Amen". Born in Carrara in 1982, after the win, he stated: "As a child I approached the world of music  thanks to my father who was a musician and owner of a music store. When I was almost 14, I wrote the first songs and had my band, Trikobalto, through which I did the first two albums. This song is special to me because, behind the dancing rhythm and melody, there is the idea of stimulating a reflection regarding the way we live today, always waiting for the next miracle to happen."
