The lighthouse in Vieste

There has been big demand for historic Italian lighthouses put up for restoration and redevelopment by the Italian State.
At the end of a three-month tender some 39 offers have come in from Italy and abroad, the 'Demanio' State-owned land and property office.
"This shows great team work between the Demanio and the defence ministry, for a significant opportunity for developing local areas," said Defence Minister Roberta Pinotti.
