Irene Kung’s solo show just opened at the Galleria Valentina Bonomo at via del Portico d’Ottavia 13, Rome.   The show will close on May 20th, so there should be plenty of time to go see it.

Following recent successful shows, Irene is now back in Rome for her third exhibition at the Portico d’Ottavia.

She has chosen a diverse set of places from India and Russia to Rome’s squares along with themes from nature, trees and waves, for her show.

Irene’s photographs of natural scenes reveal the beauty around us that is easy to overlook.  The delicate contrast between nature and architecture emerges from her work. Her latest approach to lighting, softer than in her past works, instils a sense of stillness and peace.

Her photographs are not a mere reproduction of reality; they are an innovative form of expression, where the artist’s touch transforms the captured images.
