The remake of Fellini's La Dolce Vita
Anita Ekberg became Fellini's muse for the movie
Ambi Group founders Andrea Iervolino and Monika Bacardi signed an agreement in order to finance and produce the remake of Fellini’s La Dolce Vita together with Italian producer Daniele Di Lorenzo.

Also Fellini’s niece, Francesca, stated that she had been approached in the past in order to sell the rights to the film, but she had always refused. This time, instead, she is going to trust Daniele, Andrea and Monika and their beautiful vision of a modern film. Di Lorenzo will produce the movie with his company, LDM Productions, while Ambi will handle worldwide distribution.

La Dolce Vita won the Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival in 1960 and an Oscar in 1961 in the category of Best Costume Design. The film is known by many for an iconic scene in which actress Anita Ekberg dances in Rome’s Trevi Fountain in a black dress but no names were announced for the director or actors who will be tapped to recreate the legendary Fellini masterpiece
