L’Italo-Americano is proudly supporting the relief initiative that is running in Los Angeles, California, after the Italy’s earthquake. Our newspaper is media partner of the Amatriciana for Amatrice cause launched by Foodiamo, a web platform that helps you discover the best Italian restaurants in the United Staes.
As Foodiamo’s founder, Raffaele Asquer, told L’Italo-Americano, for a limited time, customers at some restaurants in the Los Angeles Area and in some other cities in California, such as San Francisco, will be able to enjoy amatriciana pasta and contribute to earthquake relief. Each restaurant will donate a part or the full amount of the sales to fund relief efforts and post-earthquake reconstruction. The donations will go to respected and trustworthy organizations such as the Italian Red Cross.
Some of these restaurants set up special menus and promotions, including other items besides pasta all’amatriciana. For details and availability, you will need to contact the restaurants.
